Technician Supervisor (Tipton Van Centre)

Our busy Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift:

Working 45 hours Rotating: Week 1: 07.00 – 16.30; Week 2: 08.30 – 18.00; and alternate Saturday mornings 07.00-12.00 paid as overtime

Paying up to £53,820 (£23 P/H) dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience

Flexibility will be required

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI’s etc
Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
Participation in call out and breakdown rota – if/when required
Ability to use diagnostic equipment
Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
