Having a safe working environment for all our customers and staff is at the heart of all our depots.  Each depot manager is empowered to drive continuous improvement at their sites, as each has their own unique set of challenges.  This promotes wellbeing, reduces injury and stress for our teams and provides a comfortable environment for our customers.

We continuously improve our health and safety standards. Our employees walk their own safety rounds to detect and report unsafe situations and report near misses. Of course, we also want to learn from the incidents that happen. To do this in a structured way, we work with a structured system.

PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT

Renault Truck Commercials is supported by health and safety professionals, which includes company physicians, security experts and absentee coaches for our employees. Those experts effectively help to improve processes and workplaces. Besides, they help employees with their questions or concerns. Long term employability is important within Renault Truck Commercials, and we ensure that we invest into our managers and staff with training programmes such as IOSH Managing Safely.

SOLID FOUNDATIONS

Our H&S policy and strategy provides guidelines for a safe and healthy work environment. In addition, we facilitate trainings for managers and employees. We provide trainings about dangerous substances, how to use specific machines, but there are also trainings about road regulations or physical stress.
