HGV Technician Supervisor Late Shift

Hours:

40 hours 15.30 to midnight with a 30 min break with alternate Saturday’s paid at time and a half

Paying up to £27.50 pr for a 40 hour basic week,(£57,200) and with alternate Saturday’s (£5300) you can earn c£60,500

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
• Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI’s etc
• Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
• Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
• Participation in call out and breakdown rota – if/when required
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

• C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
• Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
