Mon-Fri- 40 hours 08.00 – 17.00 – alternate Saturday mornings

£40-£45,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Service Advisor to join our Truck Front of House Service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring an exceptional service experience from start to finish. Your expertise in booking systems, customer service, and sales of Workshop Services and Products will drive customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and contribute to the overall success of our service department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, motivate team members, and deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and confidence from the moment they arrive.
• Accurately log vehicle issues through effective communication with customers and the workshop.
• Provide recommendations, emphasizing benefits and value-added services such as upselling additional maintenance or accessories.
• Manage the entire service process, including scheduling appointments, coordinating with the workshop manager to ensure maximum loading efficiencies and profitability.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• To carry out the Service Department’s invoicing and administration systems efficiently.
• Lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and proactively seeking opportunities for upselling relevant services or products.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Service Advisor or similar role within an automotive dealership or workshop environment.
• Strong vehicle knowledge to understand vehicle systems and communicate effectively with technicians and customers.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency with clients.
• good with technology and learning in house systems
