LCV Technician (Reading)

Attraction Bonus £2000 for direct applicants only (non agency)

An experienced and  qualified (level 3) Van Technician is required to work at one of our customers site (Reading Borough Council) to provide a dedicated and professional service.

Working 40 hours between on earlies:- 06.00-14.30 and Sat’s 06.00-12.00 when required

Paying to £21.00 pr hr for a 40 hour week plus overtime at time and a half and for any required Saturday mornings 

Duties:

Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate.
Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.

Required knowledge & experience:

LCV Technician – City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent
Completed an apprenticeship in LCV / HGV industry or equivalent experience
Experience within the commercial vehicle industry – Vans.
