HGV 1 or 2 Driver (Dunstable)

Class 1 or 2 HGV Driver – 45 hours per week 7am to 5pm (1 hr lunch) – Permanent Role
£14.80 pr hr – delivering and collecting vehicles around our depot network and to the vehicle body builders.
Collection & delivery of vehicles for rental/lease, movement of new chassis/trucks between locations, and body builders, along with associated tasks, whilst providing a standard of service to customers that will promote RTC through an efficient service whilst at all times being a brand ambassador.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities:
Collection & delivery of Rental & Lease vehicles
Movement of new chassis/trucks to and from Body-builders and customers
Carrying out vehicle damage inspections
Truck/cab cleaning where required
Other business associated tasks on an ad-hoc basis
Key Skills and Requirements:
Relevant background/experience
Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Driving Licence (maximum 3 points)
Driver CPC card (current)
Health and Safety awareness
Appropriate Driving Licence
Ability to undertake manual handling if required
Knowledge of driver hours rules and regulations
Customer Service skills
