BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – VERTELLUS UK

Due to growth in the marketplace, Vertellus is seeking an experienced BDM to be based in the South of England, however, this role involves national travel and hybrid working, with regular meetings within the UK Headquarters of Warwick.
Offering a great basic salary with a generous commission scheme taking you into a 6 figure salary earning potential. Company car; 5% matched Pension scheme; 25 days holiday rising with service. We require you to hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Who are you?
You will ideally have experience in commercial vehicle contract hire, rental, fleet, or logistics
You are confident using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is an advantage)
Have a passion for sustainable and low-emission vehicle technology
You are ambitious, driven, and thrives on exceeding targets
You put people first and builds trust naturally
Networks easily and spots opportunities others might miss
Takes ownership and drives things forward

You’ll be out there building relationships, opening doors, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. With OEM backing from Renault Trucks, a pipeline of targeted leads, and a supportive team behind you, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.
Proactively generate new business opportunities, identifying and pursuing potential clients
Take ownership of pre-qualified targeted leads and turn them into lasting partnerships
Manage your pipeline with confidence, keeping opportunities moving forward
Build trust through honest, consistent communication and follow-through
Network naturally, representing Vertellus at meetings and industry events across the UK
Spot market trends and competitor activity, and turn them into opportunities
Work collaboratively with the Marketing team and the Customer Experience Manager plus regular liaison with the Business Development Director on strategy and key opportunities
